Issue 99 — September 30, 2018

Hi, here's issue 99 of Switch Weekly, with the Nintendo news you need to know.

Last week's big release was FIFA 19 - and although EA have made notable improvements over last year's Switch release the Nintendo version still doesn't have feature parity with both the PlayStation and Xbox versions. This may not matter for some, and it's still a superb portable football game, but for those obsessed with Ultimate Team it looks like a hard recommendation to make.

If you're into Fortnite, Season 6 started up - adding Pets (for some reason) and a bunch of spooky stuff ahead of Halloween. I'm still playing it when I get some downtime (despite not being very good ).

Games on the immediate horizon include Mega Man 11 and Super Mario Party, but you'll find all releases, plus this week's news in the issue below!

Thanks for reading,
Cheers, Chris.

This is FIFA's second outing on Switch and yet again it's "difficult to decide whether to be impressed or frustrated" with this year's entry. Here's a video review from IGN.
