Hey, issue #409 of Switch Weekly reporting for duty — here with your Nintendo round-up for the week. Hope you've had a good week.

This week saw the Nintendo DS turn 20 (no, you're old) — it's a system which at the time felt so very fresh and different, offering up a slate of truly unique expereinces. As a point of refernce, it's worth remembering the touchscreen gameplay on offer predated any iPhone by roughly three years. The unique nature of the portable makes porting the vast, impressive library of titles over to modern machines a touch tricky, which is a shame for the games which are overly reliant on the systems unique features. Anyway, as such lots of reflection and retrospectives on the dual screen handheld this week.

Beyond DS reminiscing, it's been a fairly quiet as things start to wind down towards the holidays.

There's just under 50 games coming to the Switch eShop over the next seven days, with a depressingly large amount of cheap mobile ports and low quality sim games. Full list below as ever.
